Fostering

Fostering an animal is hugely important and helps PAWS to rehome numerous animals.

Unfortunately, when dealing with stray animals, one can never know what their history is - and therefore, it's diffucult to know what the animal likes, or dislikes, or how they behave in certain situations.

Our foster programme is especially important as our Fosters can assess the animals during their time with them. Therefore, when you adopt an animal that has been fostered, you will know a bit more about the animals such as:

Is this dog good with children?Does the dog like cats?Is the dog scared of thunder?What food does the cat like / dislike?

The more we know about an animal, the better it is for prospective owners.
